Equidem launched its report “EXPOsed: Discrimination and forced labour practices on Expo Dubai 2020” on February 2, 2022. Speakers included: Dome Okuku, Equidem Kenya researcher, Mustafa Qadri, Equidem CEO, Namrata Raju, Equidem, India Director, Sharan Burrow, General-Secretary of the International Trade Union Confederation, and Bhim Shrestha of Shramik Sanjal (a Nepalese migrant worker network). The report highlights rampant racial discrimination and forced labour practices faced by migrant workers who are working in the EXPO 2020 Dubai.
